BrickHunter1.3.1 - App Store

The best part of building your favorite LEGO(R) set is the actual build! Having to dig for pieces as you need them can be frustrating and time consuming. Knowing the complete list of parts needed to build before the build process starts allows you to gather all parts and not have to keep stopping to go searching through your collection. Think of this like a grocery list for parts required to build sets.

With BrickHunter you are able to do the following:

-> Search for official sets you want to build
-> Load all parts of the set for easy browsing
-> Have offline access to images of the parts
-> Sort parts by color, type or name
-> Mark off all or some of the parts you have gathered
-> Tap part text to look up part info to assist with gathering parts
-> Sync across all your devices using the same iCloud account
-> Tap set image in collection detail to see full image

The data in this app is powered by Rebrickable.com. Only authentic set data from Rebrickable is used by BrickHunter and your personal Rebrickable.com account is not connected to this app.

Version History So many changes! Please read to understand what's new! 

CLOUD! Yes, this is the initial release that supports iCloud Sync! What?!? What benefit is that? You can now use multiple devices to collect and all changes are updated across devices that share the same iCloud account.

When installing on a new device, it may take a few minutes for changes to sync across, be patient and you will see the cloud icon showing the activity. If you are not signed into your iCloud account, you won't see a cloud at the top of the projects list.

Other new features in this release:
- CLOUD Sync
- Sections! The section header for the parts being looked at will stick to the top of the list, color, part category, part name.
- Lengths. Some parts are hard to tell their length when looking at an image. The longest length on those parts will now show in the bottom right corner of the image. (Mostly working)
- Added "All Projects" collecting screen. Icons in the top right corner of the part show which set it belongs to.
- Tap a part image to complete or clear its collecting
- Tap on the part text to access details and partial collection quantity. (Long press for details removed.)
- Partially collected parts now stand out with an orange glow.
- Support for iPad
- Support for MacOS devices running on Apple Silicon
- Removed support for iOS14 due to new functionality support and up-coming features
- If there is a possible color error in the image, the part border will reflect the correct color.
- Added database tools to assist in deduplicating the local database in support of iCloud functionality
- Fixed several bugs.

To all the loyal users who have supported this project, THANK YOU! This app is developed without support of ads, because, let's face it, who likes ads? There is a tip option in the settings, but you are not obligated to use it. If you choose to, it is highly appreciated, and won't be forgotten! 1.3.1 03/03/2024 If you are running iOS15, new features are coming, starting with part sorting headers for quick reference and more detail in the collection screen.

The newest theme I've seen this with is the Icons theme. If the app crashes when searching for sets in the Icons theme, go into the "?" section of the app and tap "Reload Themes and Categories". I want to clean this up further and hope to get back into this app with the long list of new ideas I've received from you!

- Sharpened up some rounded edges, they seemed too round.
- Replaced "Delete" with a trash can when deleting sets. (more international - less words)

The product testing team found a small bug in how MiniFigs are handled at Rebrickable and how BrickHunter interprets them. There was a tiny possibility that a data conflict could occur quietly and would give unexpected results. This has now been fixed. 1.2.0 10/25/2021 Fixed a small bug for *new users* who may have installed version 1.1.0. If as a new user, you installed that version (not upgraded to it) a tiny error in the database initialization might have locked the database preventing you from saving anything. If that was you, please delete the app and reinstall it to free up the database lock. Until you take this action, data may not save correctly.

Existing users will not have had this problem.

Also in this release, a couple more User Interface adjustments. 1.1.1 10/18/2021 Who's sick of ads? We are! So in this release: NO MORE ADS!

Yup, they're gone. Instead, you are free to use the app!

Also in this release:
- Sanded down some of the rough edges.
- Cast a few shadows for that jump off the page feel.
- Major rewrite to allow for more iterative releases as features come available.
- Added a "Reset Progress" and "Complete All" button in the parts collecting view. This is for those who have all but a few parts. Set to "Complete All" and then go adjust your quantity collected on the few parts you are missing.
- Updated image caching module to the latest version
- Squished a bug that wouldn't save the correct amount of parts when looking at a part detail.
- Small update to the way data is stored for the app and every efforts made to ensure your existing data is preserved.

Oh and did I mention, NO MORE ADS! Since I was using Google Ads previously it was tracking whatever it is they track. I painstakingly removed all the code for that, so, I give you, a tracking free experience!!!

- More parts details including full description
- Larger part image
- Ability to save partial parts collecting count
- Swipe down to dismiss this and save part collection changes

Set image full screen view in search results and in collection details, accessed by tapping on the set image.

Removed landscape view until a more efficient layout is designed, there was just too much wasted space and it wasn't useful.
